EngineeringFull-timeLuxembourg

Lead the technical direction of NodeSphere, our open-source web hosting control panel, and the platform services behind NodeGuard. You'll own hard problems end to end — from panel architecture and API design to the provisioning systems that turn a bare Ubuntu server into a production hosting node.

What you'll do

  • Design and build core NodeSphere modules: site provisioning, DNS, email, SSL automation, backups, firewall and user management.
  • Set engineering standards — code review, testing, release discipline — and mentor other engineers.
  • Work directly with founders on roadmap, and with support on the issues customers actually hit.
  • Harden the platform: privilege separation, input validation, safe process execution and audit trails.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years building production backend systems; deep Node.js or similar server-side experience.
  • Strong Linux fundamentals — systemd, nginx/Apache, PHP-FPM, MySQL/MariaDB, DNS, mail.
  • A security-first mindset and a track record of shipping reliable software with a small team.
  • Experience with hosting control panels (cPanel/WHM, Plesk or similar) is a big plus.
Apply: email careers@nodeguard.io with the subject "Application - Principal Software Engineer". Attach your latest CV and a short cover letter, and include links to relevant open-source work or projects.
InfrastructureFull-timeLuxembourg

Own the architecture of NodeGuard's hosting platform — the KVM virtualization layer, storage, networking and DDoS protection that our VPS, shared hosting and VPN products run on. You'll design for scale, isolation and failure, and decide how we grow from our current footprint to multiple regions.

What you'll do

  • Design and evolve our virtualization, storage (NVMe/ZFS) and network topology, including capacity planning.
  • Define tenant isolation, resource limits and anti-oversubscription policy across the fleet.
  • Architect backup, disaster-recovery and multi-region strategies with clear RPO/RTO targets.
  • Write the reference designs and runbooks the rest of the team builds against.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years in systems/infrastructure engineering, with real ownership of production architecture.
  • Deep experience with KVM/QEMU or similar, Linux networking, firewalls and load balancing.
  • Experience at a hosting provider, ISP or cloud platform strongly preferred.
  • Ability to justify architectural decisions in writing — trade-offs, costs and failure modes.
Apply: email careers@nodeguard.io with the subject "Application - System Architect". Attach your latest CV and a cover letter describing a system you designed and what you'd change about it today.
InfrastructureFull-timeLuxembourg

Keep the fleet fast, patched and boring. You'll own monitoring, automation and incident response across our hosting nodes, and turn every incident into tooling that prevents the next one.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain monitoring, alerting and health-check automation across all nodes.
  • Automate provisioning, patching and configuration management (Ansible or similar).
  • Run incident response and post-mortems; drive uptime and latency improvements.
  • Tune nginx, Apache, PHP-FPM, MySQL and mail services for performance under real load.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years running production Linux at scale (Ubuntu/Debian preferred).
  • Solid scripting (Bash, Python or Node.js) and infrastructure-as-code habits.
  • Comfortable being on-call in a small rotation with real ownership.
Apply: email careers@nodeguard.io with the subject "Application - Site Reliability Engineer". Attach your latest CV and a cover letter — bonus points for a war story about an outage you fixed.
SecurityFull-timeLuxembourg

Security is NodeGuard's core promise. You'll attack and defend our own platform — hardening the fleet, reviewing NodeSphere code before it ships, and building the detection that catches abuse and intrusion attempts early.

What you'll do

  • Perform code review and threat modelling on NodeSphere modules and platform services.
  • Harden servers: kernel and service hardening, fail2ban/WAF tuning, least-privilege everywhere.
  • Build abuse detection (malware uploads, phishing sites, outbound spam) and response tooling.
  • Own vulnerability management, disclosure handling and periodic penetration tests.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years in application or infrastructure security, ideally in hosting or SaaS.
  • Hands-on with Linux hardening, web attack classes (injection, SSRF, path traversal) and secure code review.
  • Ability to write fixes, not just findings — you can read and patch Node.js/PHP code.
Apply: email careers@nodeguard.io with the subject "Application - Security Engineer". Attach your latest CV and a cover letter; CVE credits, write-ups or CTF profiles welcome.
MarketingFull-timeLuxembourgFull Remote

One person, full ownership of how the world finds NodeGuard and NodeSphere. This is a hands-on technical marketing role — you'll write the tutorials, build the backlinks, run the social channels and own our search rankings. You must genuinely understand hosting: if you've never SSH'd into a server or debugged a WordPress site, this isn't the role for you.

What you'll do

  • Own SEO end to end: keyword strategy, on-page optimization, technical SEO audits and rank tracking.
  • Build high-quality backlinks — outreach, guest posts, directories, partnerships and linkable assets.
  • Write technical content: hosting and WordPress tutorials, server how-tos, NodeSphere documentation-style guides, comparison pages and blog posts.
  • Run our social channels (X, LinkedIn, Facebook) and grow an audience in the hosting/dev community.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in SEO/content marketing with measurable ranking and link-building results.
  • Technical enough to be credible: real exposure to the web hosting industry, Linux servers, WordPress, DNS and control panels.
  • Strong written English — you'll write tutorials engineers don't cringe at.
  • Comfortable owning strategy and execution alone, reporting directly to the founder.
Apply: email careers@nodeguard.io with the subject "Application - Technical Content & SEO Manager". Attach your latest CV, a cover letter, and 2–3 samples: a technical tutorial you wrote and a page you ranked or a link-building campaign you ran.
SupportFull-timeLuxembourgFull Remote

Be the human behind our "no bots" support promise. You'll resolve real technical issues for hosting and VPS customers — Linux, web servers, WordPress, PHP, email, DNS — through our ticket system, and escalate platform bugs straight to engineering.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical Linux support to customers: web hosting issues, WordPress errors, PHP configuration, mail and DNS problems.
  • Administer and troubleshoot web servers (nginx, Apache), PHP-FPM, MySQL/MariaDB and SSL on Ubuntu.
  • Handle server management tasks for managed customers: migrations, restores, performance tuning.
  • Own tickets end to end, keep response times low, and write knowledge-base articles from recurring issues.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years in technical support at a hosting provider or similar Linux-heavy environment.
  • Confident on the Linux command line; able to read logs and actually diagnose, not just escalate.
  • Hands-on WordPress troubleshooting experience (plugins, themes, wp-cli, database repairs).
  • Clear, patient written communication with non-technical customers.
Apply: email careers@nodeguard.io with the subject "Application - Technical Support Engineer II". Attach your latest CV and a short cover letter describing the toughest customer issue you've solved.
EngineeringFull-timeLuxembourg

Make NodeSphere the control panel people actually enjoy using. You'll own the panel UI — file manager, terminal, logs, firewall, cron, databases — and the marketing site, with a high bar for speed, clarity and dark-mode polish.

What you'll do

  • Build and refine NodeSphere's dashboard modules with fast, dependency-light JavaScript and CSS.
  • Design consistent UI patterns: tables, modals, wizards, empty states and error handling.
  • Keep the panel fast on modest VPS hardware — performance budgets, no framework bloat.
  • Contribute to NodeGuard's marketing site and shared design system.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years shipping production web UI; strong vanilla JS, CSS and accessibility fundamentals.
  • Taste — you can show us interfaces you made simpler, not just prettier.
  • Understanding of what a hosting panel does (sites, DNS, mail, SSL) is a strong plus.
Apply: email careers@nodeguard.io with the subject "Application - Frontend Engineer (NodeSphere)". Attach your latest CV, a cover letter and links to live UI you've built.
MarketingFull-timeLuxembourgFull Remote

Own the marketing engine for both NodeGuard and NodeSphere. You'll shape how we're positioned, build the campaigns that bring in new hosting and VPS customers, and grow awareness of NodeSphere in the developer and web-pro community. This is a strategy-and-execution role in a small team — you set the plan and you ship it.

What you'll do

  • Own the marketing strategy and calendar across paid, organic, email and community channels.
  • Plan and run acquisition campaigns with clear CAC, conversion and retention targets.
  • Position NodeGuard's products and evangelise NodeSphere as a modern control-panel alternative.
  • Own brand voice and messaging across the site, launches, ads and lifecycle email.
  • Work closely with the SEO/content and business-development hires to turn traffic into signups.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years in marketing, ideally in hosting, SaaS, developer tools or infrastructure.
  • A track record of campaigns that measurably grew signups or revenue — bring the numbers.
  • Comfortable owning budget and reporting on ROI; data-driven, not vibes-driven.
  • Enough technical literacy to market to a developer and web-professional audience credibly.
Apply: email careers@nodeguard.io with the subject "Application - Marketing Manager". Attach your latest CV, a cover letter, and one campaign you're proud of with the results it drove.
Business DevelopmentFull-timeLuxembourgFull Remote

Drive NodeGuard's growth beyond self-serve signups. You'll open new revenue channels — reseller and agency partnerships, larger managed-hosting deals, and NodeSphere licensing/adoption opportunities — and build the relationships that turn NodeGuard into a recognised name in the hosting space.

What you'll do

  • Identify and close partnership, reseller and agency deals that bring recurring hosting revenue.
  • Build a pipeline of higher-value managed VPS and hosting clients and own it end to end.
  • Develop go-to-market opportunities for NodeSphere — integrations, partners and adoption.
  • Represent NodeGuard to prospects, partners and at industry/community events.
  • Feed market and customer signals back into product and marketing.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years in business development, partnerships or B2B sales, ideally in hosting, cloud or SaaS.
  • A closer's track record — pipelines you built and deals you signed, with numbers.
  • Strong understanding of the hosting/infrastructure market and who buys it.
  • Self-directed and comfortable being the commercial face of a fast-growing company.
Apply: email careers@nodeguard.io with the subject "Application - Business Development Manager". Attach your latest CV, a cover letter, and a deal or partnership you're proud of closing.
